Advertisements For First Talking Movie

The first talking movie was called The Jazz Singer, released in 1927. It was directed by Alan Crosland. It was produced by Warner Brothers, so they promoted it. It was a huge deal because nothing like that had ever been created. Magazines gave mostly positive reviews because of how revolutionary it was. None of the Warner brothers were able to attend the premiere. The budget of the film was $422,000 and it made $3.9 million in the box office in the US. This is good because they made profit on the film.

My name is Evan DiMambro. My favorite activities include going on the internet and watching TV. Also, swimming in the Summer and sledding in the Winter. My favorite movies include "We're the Millers", "The Parent Trap" and "Ted". I don't read often but one of my favorite books is "The Big Field" by Mike Lupica. My favorite sport would probably be baseball as I enjoy following the MLB the most out of all the leagues. Some of my favorite players are Brock Holt and Mike Trout.
